Frequently Asked Questions
How much do your skip bins cost to hire?
Our skip bin prices start from $200 for a 2m³ bin. Pricing depends on bin size, waste type, location and hire requirements. Our listed prices include delivery, pickup and 7 days rental time, with taxes included. For an accurate price, call 07 3132 3144 or request a quote online.
What size skip bin should I get?
The right skip bin size depends on the type and volume of waste you need removed. We offer a range of sizes from 2m³ to 15m³, including options for small cleanups, renovations, construction waste, commercial jobs and larger cleanouts. Contact our team and we’ll recommend the right size for your job.
What skip bin sizes do you offer?
We offer the following skip bin sizes: 2m³, 4m³, 6m³, 8m³, 9m³, 10m³, 12m³ and 15m³. Availability can depend on the waste type and location, so please check with us when booking.
How long can I keep the skip bin?
Our standard hire period is 7 days. If you need the skip bin for longer, contact us before collection and we’ll discuss extension options. Additional rental fees may apply.
How do I reserve a skip bin?
Booking is simple. Call 07 3132 3144 or request a quote online. We’ll confirm the bin size, waste type, delivery address, hire period and pricing before your booking is finalised.
What can and can’t go in your skip bins?
We accept many types of non-hazardous waste, including general household rubbish, garden waste, furniture, renovation debris, concrete, bricks, soil and clean fill, depending on the bin type booked.
Some materials are restricted or prohibited, including asbestos, hazardous chemicals, paint, solvents, flammable liquids, oils, gas bottles, batteries, tyres, car bodies or engines, medical waste and food waste. Please ask us before booking if you are unsure which bin type is right for your materials.
Can I put dirt, bricks or concrete in the skip bin?
Yes, but only in the correct skip bin type. Dirt, bricks, concrete, tiles and similar materials usually need a heavy waste, clean fill, soil/dirt or concrete/brick skip bin. Please tell us what you are disposing of when booking so we can provide the right bin and avoid contamination or extra charges.
Do you service commercial clients?
Yes. We provide skip bin hire for both residential and commercial customers throughout Brisbane. Commercial waste requirements can vary, so contact us with your waste type, volume and location and we’ll recommend the right bin.
Do your skip bins have lids?
Some skip bins have lids or lockable options available on request. Let us know when booking if you need a covered or more secure bin, and we’ll match the best available option to your job.
What happens if the skip bin gets overloaded?
Please do not fill the skip bin above the rim or exceed the weight limit. Overfilled or overweight bins may be unsafe to transport and may incur additional fees. If you think you’ll need more space, contact us and we can discuss a larger bin or an additional collection.
Do I need a permit for a skip bin?
If the skip bin is placed fully on private property, a council permit is usually not required. If the bin needs to be placed on public land such as a footpath, nature strip or roadway, Brisbane City Council approval may be required. Ask us before delivery so we can help you plan a safe and compliant placement.
